The report includes a myriad of activities taking place worldwide regarding Earth Jurisprudence applied to Law, Policy, Education and Public Engagement – including many of the legislative, policy and public awareness actions of GARN members. For Maria Mercedes, who leads the UN’s Harmony with Nature Programme, it “reflects an increasing momentun, and the evolving relationship between humankind and Mother Earth toward protecting the planet.” Maria also comments that this is first time the UN editors have honored the importance of capitalizing the word ‘Nature’ throughout the report.
