2022 marked another historic year for the Rights of Nature. From landmark legislation passing – like Spain’s decision to recognize the legal rights of Mar Menor, to Panama signing Rights of Nature into law, to the Ponca Nation making U.S. history when it voted to recognize the Rights of Rivers in their territory – it has been a big year for the Rights of Nature movement.
As we wrap up the year, we are excited to share the Rights of Nature (RoN) movement highlights with you, and our own highlights here at GARN too, of course!
