The Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN) is opening a new round of internships and is seeking motivated volunteers from around the world to join our team.
Based in Quito, Ecuador, GARN is a worldwide network of organizations, communities, and individuals working toward the universal recognition and implementation of the Rights of Nature—the legal guarantee that every ecosystem and living being has the right to exist, flourish, and regenerate its natural cycles.
As a central node of the global Rights of Nature movement, GARN coordinates alliances across regions and sectors, supports communities and Indigenous peoples, advances innovative legal strategies, hosts international tribunals and symposia, and produces educational resources that help shift how societies relate to the living world.
