High-Impact Climate Action with the Rights of Nature – The Explorers Club event at Climate Week NYC
Join Indigenous leaders, journalists and advocates to explore the revolutionary progress and impact of the vital new steps toward bringing back balance in our relationship with Nature, with governments around the world choosing to recognize the legal rights of trees, rivers and entire ecosystems, at The Explorers Club. Participants include GARN’s Natalia Greene, journalist Katie Surma, Ponca Nation Leader Casey Camp Horinek and Patricia Gualinga, from the Pueblo Kichwa of Sarayaku, Ecuador. Followed by lightning talks from Rights of Nature advocates, scientists, lawyers, funders TEC members and EC50.
